Walking
- In Basel SBB train station on the main passenger bridge, take the exit next to "Media Markt"
- On Guterstrasse turn left and walk 700m towards the church you see
- On square Tellplatz turn right into Bruderholzstrasse, walk one block
- On Dornacherstrasse it says D192 & Gundeldinger Feld on the wall of the building left hand side.
- Inside this area, walk up the yard about 150m straight to reception - welcome!
By tramway
- In Basel SBB train station on the main passenger bridge, take the exit next to "Media Markt"
- On Guterstrasse take tramway 16 from the station for 2 stops and get off at Tellplatz
- On square Tellplatz turn right into Bruderholzstrasse, walk one block
- On Dornacherstrasse it says D192 & Gundeldinger Feld on the wall of the building left hand side.
- Inside this area, walk up the yard about 150m straight to reception - welcome!
By car
- Motorway A2, exit Basel-Sud City, direction Basel-City
- Turn right into Munchensteinerstrasse, after 220m follow to Thiersteiner-Allee
- After 330m turn right into Dornacherstrasse, on left hand side you see Gundeldinger Feld
By plane
Fly to EuroAirport (BSL). From the airport terminal, there is a shuttle bus to Bahnhof SBB train station. For cheap flights, we suggest EasyJet or Ryanair, for classy air traveling, of course you want to fly with SWISS.
By riverboat
Cruise up the river Rhine from Rotterdam to Basel and find an empty boat gate between the famous bridges. From there via Basel SBB station to the BaselBackPack like explained above. Harbour slots for boats larger than 150ft must be reserved 2 days ahead :)
